Tsuen Wan day and night

Since it was a overcast day. it was really good for candid portrait due toe the soft skin tone rendering, I went to Tsuen Wan for a some shooting. The corn of the overcast day is just bad for background, I shot most of the shot wide open at F/0.95.

Olympus M.Zuiko Digital 17mm f/1.8 dilemma

Photo from m43blog

Since I'm a street photographer, 35mm is like a must have focal length and Olympus released a 17mm (34mm equivalent, really close to 35mm) lens for micro four third around a month ago. From the previous release of Olympus, 45mm F1.8, 12mm F2, 75mm F1.8, all have amazing image quality, therefore, I have high hope for the 17mm, but the reviews from lenstips  and couple other sources all states that it is a overpriced lens and not better than lovely Pannasonic 20mm F1.7 (I just sold it because I prefer 25mm or 17mm lens Field of view) except for quick AF. It disappoints me. Of course, I will seek for more reviews to see is it worth for my money!

Happy CNY (Chinese New Year)!

Wish everyone have a wonderful year of 2013. In this image, the back is the lighting decoration for the CNY and the front is Grace, my gf.

Vintage vehicle

I just saw a van that is older than me (I'm 31), it is really rare in Hong Kong. In this place, car rare last more than 10 years, people just like buy new cars!! As a result, 2nd hand car become really cheap in Hong Kong.

Nightlife in Causeway Bay

Since my office is at Fortress Hill, which is close to Causeway Bay (one of the famous retail shooping district in Hong Kong), I walked there after work (around 830pm) and had some shootings with my Lovely OMD and CV25/0.95 lens.
