Documentary project- Respect, Love and Care

Beside shooting street photography randomly, I'm also working on a project called Respect, Love and Care. It is a project about the my concern from the imbalanced wealth in the society. Since I will only reveal the whole project after I finished, I can only show a couple images to let you know what is going on in this project.

Back to telephoto lens for Street Photography

If you have read my other post, you would find out I used 50mm and 35mm in 35mm format the most. I want to change a bit and try to explore something new, I used M.Zuiko 45mm F1.8, 90mm in full frame format this time.

Sham Shui Po - Studies

I like to shoot at Sam Shui Po and I had post to talk about it in the past. This time, I went to the uncrowded part of the city and which gave more space and freedom to documentary the life and history of this area.

Majestic

Hong Kong has had overcast weather all the time but I caught the wonderful light by luck.
The outcome is just wonderful.

Shots in Sequence

I used to shoot 1 or 2 shots (mostly 1) for every candid shots, since I saw the contact sheet post in Eric Kim Photography blog, he showed that most influential photographers took 4 shots or more in order to get the best image. So I gave it a try and it improved my works' quality. Moreover, I got some unexpected outcome! which is the full set of scene in sequence.
